Preview | Tigers vs Sale

Figure image

The Gallagher Premiership resumes this Sunday at Sale as the Sharks look to give their league campaign a shot in the arm against Michael Cheika's Leicester Tigers.

Leicester have, self-admittedly, only begun to implement the experienced Australian coach's style, but sit one point off the top of the table heading into round seven.

Sale have got some significant reinforcements coming back into contention, and despite some uncharacteristic performances in the league this year, are one of the most difficult teams to play, particularly at Salford Community Stadium.

Team News

Jack van Poortvliet captains a strong Tigers side. George Martin returns to club action after big minutes for England, while Solomone Kata makes his first league appearance since round one.

Sale will be steered by former Tiger George Ford and have both Curry twins in the backrow.
