Tigers took their winning run in the Aviva Premiership to six games with a 22-16 triumph at Northampton Saints last weekend and sit third place in the table with just four rounds remaining.
First, though, they have a tough Heineken Cup quarter-final against Clermont Auvergne this Saturday.
“We know when it does come to the business end of the season that Leicester Tigers will up their game and we are doing that at the moment,” said flanker Salvi.
“To go to Franklin’s Gardens and get a win helps build confidence in the team. We wanted to go there and get the result on the back of the Exeter win the previous week and we did that.
“But we have to keep our heads, look forward and keep playing well with the confidence we’ve got from the last few games.
“It doesn’t get any easier, we know Clermont have a very good home record. But we’ll be going there to do our best.”
Tigers return to home territory next Saturday when London Wasps are the visitors in Round 19 of the Aviva Premiership season. Match tickets are still available from the Tigers ticket office.
