The Summer Internationals are well underway, with several Leicester Tigers players in action in both junior and senior competition.

The Under-20 World Championship is currently in full swing, with both England and Wales competing in the second and final rounds of the group stages.

In the second round of the competition, on Thursday, July 4, Ollie Allan, Finn Carnduff, who captained the side, and Cameron Miell all featured in England's 48 - 11 victory over Fiji, while Osian Thomas enjoyed victory with Wales in their 31 - 10 win over Spain.

In Tuesday's group stage finale, Carnduff again lead England to victory, this time over South Africa. The flanker started alongside scrumhalf Ollie Allen and helped level the scores with a determined try after his side had fallen behind to the Junior Springboks, the tournament hosts, before lasting all the way to the end as a powerful maul try saw England clinch a win at the death, 17 - 12.

Elsewhere in the groups, lock Osian Thomas started for Wales as they fell in a hard-fought match with France, 29 - 11.

In Senior competition, forwards Dan Cole and George Martin were both featured but were edged by a single point in Dunedin as England fell 16 - 15 to the All Blacks.

Martin started the match at lock, while Cole entered from the replacements to win his 114th cap and equal Jason Leonard's record as England's men's most-capped prop and second-most-capped player in history.

Across the Southern Hemisphere in Pretoria, Handré Pollard started for the Springboks as the World Champions downed Ireland 27 - 20. The fly half played 73 minutes and kicked 10 points, two penalties and two conversions, to help South Africa to victory.

Over to the Americas, as Scotland travelled north to Canada where prop Will Hurd enjoyed his full senior international debut, having also represented at Under-20 level in the past, in a 12 - 73 victory.

Finally, down in South America, Tigers captain Julián Montoya started, captained and scored in Felipe Contepomi’s first test as Argentina head coach, as Los Pumas lost out to France 13 - 28.
