Look out for something special from the Leicester Tigers matchday programme this season with a collectable cover series.

Each week the programme front cover will give a modern twist to an older model, with the design based on a previous model.

We will also flick through the pages of the past to share some content and we hope supporters will join in too by sharing their recollections either on social media or by email to [email protected].

For the opening round of the season we follow the fashion of 1991/92 – in the early years of league competition but before the professional era – and pick up same tales on the back of the “blackest week in Welsh rugby history”, a bedtime problem for players on the club tour to Canada and the launch of a Tigers Under-21s team to nurture young talent.
