With a sell-out crowd in prospect and a list of activities around the game, supporters are encouraged to travel to Mattioli Woods Welford Road in good time ahead of kick-off for Sunday’s game between Leicester Tigers and Harlequins (3.00pm).
Our matchday guide contains everything you need to know about your day at the stadium.
Have your season ticket card, match ticket, print-at-home ticket or your smartphone ready before you reach the turnstile to allow prompt access to the stadium.
Celebrating the Tigers Family
Fifteen minutes before kick-off, we will be acknowledging the achievements of some inspirational characters and events involving the Tigers Family.
While their focus on the day will be on preparing the team, the club will take the opportunity to celebrate the incredible efforts of Kevin Sinfield and Will Findlay during the last month, salute mascot Welford’s London Marathon run and welcome the Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team who have enjoyed success in domestic competition and as part of Team GB’s Paralympic gold medal-winning squad.
We urge all supporters to make your way to your places in the stadium in good time to acknowledge them all with a huge Tigers round of applause.
A group of volunteers from the MND Association, a cause at the heart of Kevin Sinfield’s fundraising, will host a bucket collection around the stadium – so bring some change!
Also, the Leicester Tigers Foundation is collecting donations of gifts for distribution through the local community in the run-up to Christmas. They can be suitable for any age-group and do not have to be wrapped. If you would like to donate items, including toys, there are drops points donated and decorated by club partner Biffa in the Club Shop in the Beehive Stand on matchday as well as at reception on non-matchdays.
Wellbeing and Safety
The safety of the Tigers Family remains a priority so please think about the wellbeing of yourself and those around you, while helping us to minimise risks from the pandemic.
Supporters are encouraged to wear a face-covering in concourses unless eating or drinking, and in areas around other people.
Please follow directions of signage and stewards regarding entry and exit.
Take extra care over hygiene and sanitisation, and if a ball is kicked to you in the warm-up or in the game, please do not return it direct to the players or to the pitch. Instead, return to the ball boy team or a steward so it can be sanitised.
The club encourages supporters not to bring bags into the stadium in order to help minimise delays and contact due to searches at the turnstiles.
